Francis Vain possesses vast industry knowledge apart from filmmaking


With a target to take film-making to the next level, Francis Vain worked as a producer as well as Assistant Director on movie “Miss December” in the Greater Philadelphia Area. He performed logistical production planning and coordinated communication between departments. Moreover, he worked on creating and managing the production schedule.

Later on, in 2010, Francis Vain directed and produced movie “Mancation”. He negotiated the purchase and worldwide distribution of films by Grindstone/Lionsgate, Screen Media, and Kevin Smith’s Smodcast Productions. He himself took the responsibility to personally oversee writing/reading contracts, creating budget, script development, scheduling, equipment rental, costume rental/purchase, location scouting, securing music rights, directing rehearsals, onset management, accounting, payroll, taxes, and organizing travel, lodging, and transportation of cast and crew. 

Besides a filmmaker, Francis Vain managed to gain solid experience of more than ten years as an established event manager. He served as an independent contractor for various locally based Destination Management companies. These include Roberts Event Group, JR Global Events, Stockton and Partners, Albrecht Events, and Global Event Partners. He always cultivated successful business conferences, meetings, breakouts, registration, transportation, corporate dinners, and corporate team building. Moreover, he has maintained the schedule and timelines for set up/breakdown and the moving of large groups of people from around the world in, out, and around the Phil/NY/NJ/Del area.
